2013 Wangaratta Fun Run & Marathon
Results are now available from the 2012 event.
Yes, we will be having a marathon and half marathon in 2013.
Yes, we will still be having 10km, 5km and 2km events. 2km for Primary Schools only.
Yes, the courses are MORE picturesque, flatter and faster than those of 2011 & 2012.
Yes, we will be having electronic timing.
Yes, these events have all the trimmings of the massive metropolitan events, but at a fraction of the price.
We are in the final stages of course setting in consultation with local council. Council has been terrifically supportive and we will have a much wider course with less dual direction sections.
We are shortly to undertake negotiations with sponsors and after that has concluded we will be able to set entry prices for 2013. We hope to keep prices the same as 2012 but ADD electronic timing and some other services.
